Coventry to host Catfish and the Bottlemen

International indie rock band, Catfish and the Bottlemen, will be commencing its European tour later this year, with Coventry listed as one of the stops.

As the only Midlands stop on the band’s tour, the people of Coventry will be delighted to host them once more after previous success in the city in November 2016.

On Saturday 4 May, the band will be performing at the Ericsson Indoor Arena as one of only five gigs in the UK. The show will take place days after the release of the group’s most recent album, The Balance, which is scheduled for release on Friday 26 April.

The Arena’s head of operations, Justine Hewitt, is particularly excited about the event, stating:

“Welcoming back one of the music industry’s biggest indie rock artists is a massive coup for both our venue and the city of Coventry as we gear up for a stellar summer of music at Ricoh Arena.”

When popular bands come to a city, event organisers often offer Promotional Products and other memorabilia for fans to purchase as a memento of the occasion.

The band first found fame in 2014 after releasing its debut album, The Balcony. Fans can expect to hear songs from both albums at the gig. Catfish and the Bottlemen will begin its tour in Galway at the end of April.
