The Coventry Skydome has several companies working from its premises. Printing in Coventry may be used to help these firms attract more people to their doors. The Lord Mayor of Coventry, Michael Hammon, has told the Coventry Telegraph:
“The development was in need of a refresh and it is pleasing that the owners have made
the necessary investment that has given the whole venue a much more welcoming feel. That has helped to attract new operators and has made Skydome a much more diverse venue.”
One of the businesses that use the site, Pure Gym, has said that it currently has in excess of 8,000 members. It has revealed that it has set a target of 10,000 members for it to attain by 2016. The Coventry base of Pure Gym is already the second biggest operation the firm possesses within the country.
The other operators that make use of the venue have also reported a healthy number of visitors. These companies are behind a multi-screen cinema and an ice arena.
Back in 2011, the venue as a whole was far from fully occupied. However, the occupation rate has improved to a point where it is now full. Fresh colour schemes and tree planting have transformed the appearance of the place.
