What's Happening in Coventry, England…

Coventry site purchased by Unite Students

Developer Unite Students has invested almost £25 million in a site near the middle of Coventry.

The organisation manages student accommodation as well as developing it. When

new developments are in progress, brochure printers can supply high quality printing to highlight their features to prospective purchasers. Richard Simpson, a director who specialises in property at Unite Students, stated:

“We are delighted to have acquired a further site in Coventry for delivery in 2017. Coventry University has continued to perform strongly, driving high levels of demand for good quality, well located purpose built student accommodation.”

This site should cater for comfortably over 350 students when the work is finished. By the autumn of 2017, the accommodation may be in operation. The campus of Coventry University will be close at hand for students who live on the site.

Coventry University has achieved a lot recently. Last year, it received the title of ‘University of the Year’ during the Times Higher Education Awards. Further, UCAS acceptances have gone up by almost 15 per cent in a year. At present, the institution is responsible for more than 25,000 students.

Unite Students commented that the plan fits well into its regional strategy. The enterprise seems to have specific targets for the West Midlands. In particular, the outfit reportedly has an interest in the hotel sector of Birmingham. Several hotels are going to be opened in the city soon.
