A school in Coventry has submitted Plans for the construction of a number of temporary classroom facilities, to enable it to cope with an influx of extra students.
Foxford School & Community Arts College is located on Grange Road, Coventry. It is hoping to get permission to build four new classrooms within a nearby car park. In the Plans that it has submitted for these, the school states that it will be accepting a further 100 pupils from the start of the new academic year. That will increase its student body by 10% and additional teaching space is urgently needed.
These Plans also state that the existing school buildings are not suitable for housing the extra classrooms required. The idea is to construct them in the car park on Ansell Drive, very close to the school campus.
It is expected that they could be needed for as long as four years and so more spaces for vehicle parking will be provided to replace those lost to the new classrooms.
Schools in the area can turn to shops to create custom Letterheads with their names and logos on them for all official correspondence, ranging from letters to the local authority to ones sent to parents.
If these Plans are green lit, they will include the construction of a dropped kerb for easy access and metal double gates.
