Little Heath primary school was been awarded the rating after a recent inspection impressed the school standards body. This is an improvement on the last rating, which saw the school graded as 'satisfactory'.
Gill Mulhall, the head teacher of the school, spoke about the new rating, saying:
"We are really pleased with the Ofsted inspection result which recognises the commitment and dedication of all staff, pupils and governors working together for the good of the school. Everyone has worked really hard to make the school a success and I am extremely proud of them all. We are not complacent however and we know there is more work to be done to continue the good progress we have made."
