Coventry revs up for motor festival

The annual Motofest is due to be held in Coventry at the beginning of June.

Part of Coventry’s City of Culture 2021 programme, this three-day themed festival will be in its seventh year and is located at the heart of Britain's leading motor city. It attracts a wide spectrum of people of all ages, including those with only a passing interest in vehicles but who want to celebrate the achievements of the industry.

The event offers live action motorsport including speed laps around the GT Radial Sprint Circuit, with the Skydome Fueltopia Arena hosting the Formula G Championship. There are, of course, the traditional vintage displays and other notable attractions, such as international street food, live music and a family-orientated summer party.

It is also an opportunity for the drivers, engineers and designers of the future to get inspired consider becoming involved in the industry as a career. They can experience drone racing, virtual reality and the latest modern vehicle tech.

There is no charge for attendance and the event itself is fully COVID-19 compliant. Poster printing should not be underestimated as an effective means of publicising all sorts of social and commercial activities, both locally and nationally.

Coventry Motofest 2021 will take place between Friday, June 4 and Sunday, June 6 in the City Centre, Coventry.
