Aldi to open new outlet in Coventry

Supermarket chain Aldi is poised to open another store within Coventry during early May.

The new store is to be located in Airport Retail Park in the vicinity of Tollbar Island. The development is expected to create almost 30 jobs. Leaflets from Coventry can be used to promote the new store.

Janet Randle, the future manager of the shop, said:

“One of the most exciting things about a new store opening is surprising people that haven’t shopped at Aldi before with the quality and low prices of our award-winning products.”

Randle mentioned that consumers can be thrilled by low prices. Furthermore, she stated that she is looking forward to meeting local customers.

While being a German firm, Aldi has expanded its operations in the UK significantly in recent times. A few weeks ago, the company opened an outlet in Coventry’s Gallagher Retail Park.

Aldi is looking to recruit more workers before the new store opens its doors. The business maintains that its wages are highly competitive when contrasted with the average hourly rates in its economic sector.

Aldi is currently the holder of Grocer of the Year, having won praise from a magazine called The Grocer. This is a tribute to its performance in Britain. Aldi has shown its commitment to this country by its extensive use of British suppliers.
