Aldi recruiting more workers in Coventry

The supermarket Aldi is pushing to hire in excess of 120 extra employees for its stores within Coventry.

Aldi is seeking to recruit around

20 stock workers and about 90 assistants, as well as more than 10 people to assist with the management of the stores in question. The business intends to pay its employees above the national living wage. It is recruiting because of its expansion Plans. Aldi could use leaflet printing from marketing services in Coventry to promote its new stores. Marius Manolescu, a regional director for the organisation, told the Coventry Telegraph:

“We are looking to attract applicants from a diverse range of backgrounds, including supermarkets, fast-food and clothing chains, who can demonstrate relevant retail experience, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.”

Over the year to come, Aldi intends to open a range of local stores. These will be located in Cannon Park, Airport Retail Park (ARP) and Gallagher Retail Park (GRP). According to the regional director, the existing stores in the Coventry area will require support in terms of additional workers as the new outlets are added to the chain.

Aldi has made it clear that candidates for the management positions should also have relevant experience. Management staff will have longer guaranteed hours than the employees that they will supervise. Deputy store management will also benefit from higher hourly pay than their junior colleagues receive.
