The Levellers rock band is embarking on a 17-date tour this spring, and is due to play Bath in mid-April.
The group was formed by Jeremy Cunningham and Mark Chadwick in Brighton in the 1980s. In 2018, they decided to approach their considerable back catalogue, which includes 14 top 40 singles, in a different way. This involved two well-received acoustic tours and, more recently, successful LP releases.
The Levellers members collaborated with another Brighton band, The Moulettes, and went on to record several albums that revamped the former group's original songs. 'We The Collective' was released in 2018, followed by 'Together All The Way' in 2020.
These acoustic versions of Levellers' tracks give rise to a distinctive sound. This opened up the prospect of attracting a largely untapped audience, as well as confirming the loyalty of existing fans.
It is now possible to see and hear them on a live LP and accompanying DVD. Recorded in 2023 at Hackney Empire, critics claim the performance captured the Levellers' previously unseen spirit. Numerous cameras at intimate vantage points provided more intimate access.
Ticket prices for the new Levellers' Collective show begin at £27.50. Printing services can be effectively utilised in the promotion of a concert or musical event like this one.
The show has a starting time of 7.00 pm on Tuesday, 18 March and takes place at The Forum in Bath.
