Sounds of Star Wars arriving in Bath

A live concert featuring the soundtrack from the sixth episode of George Lucas’s epic Star Wars saga will be performed in Bath.

Fans of the galaxy far, far away will be able to enjoy Return of the Jedi’s full score, from the opening fanfare of the ‘Main Title’ to the concluding ‘Ewok Celebration and Finale’, performed by a live symphony orchestra.

The show is taking place in the Art Deco splendour of The Forum in Bath and will mark the first time the iconic score has been recreated live on stage in the UK.

Venues hosting live musical events can sometimes use poster printing services to create colourful advertisements for upcoming shows. The live orchestral performance on stage will be accompanied by a projection of Return of The Jedi on the venue’s ultra-high definition screen.

Originally released in 1983, the film features a soundtrack written by American composer John Williams. A winner of five Oscar awards, Williams composed all of the Star Wars saga scores, along with those for many other famous films such as Jaws, Jurassic Park, Raiders of The Lost Ark and Schindler’s List.

This musical event was originally planned for October, but due to government guidelines, has now been rescheduled to Thursday, November 26. Tickets for the evening are priced between £39.95 and £79.35, with the show starting at 7.30pm.
