Guitarbiz relocates to central Bath

A guitar retail outlet has recently moved to Bath from Frome.

Guitarbiz has set up in Bath’s Quiet Street. Poster printing in Bath can be used by firms in the music sector to promote events, new albums and offers on instruments. The business sells accessories and amplifiers as well as a variety of instruments. Talented musicians and novices can purchase the products from the shop or its website.

Entrepreneur Sam Jellyman told the Bath Chronicle:

“If someone comes in here and doesn’t have a clue what they want then we’ll try them with a range of things and see what suits them best. If the £50 guitar suits them best then that’s what they’ll walk out with. We’re not going to force them into buying something more expensive, that’s not what we do here.”

Jellyman has received more interest in Bath than in Frome. His team hope that this state of affairs will continue. There is a degree of competition from nearby Vintage N’ Rare Guitars. While this alternative shop may have some loyal customers, it does offer them items which tend to be slightly more expensive than those available at Guitarbiz. Therefore, Jellyman believes that the two stores have the potential to develop a complementary relationship.

Furthermore, Jellyman knows the importance of word of mouth and is optimistic about the future. He wants to use a room above the shop to hold music lessons. A mail order scheme will be managed from the same premises.
