Organisers could make use of Print shops in Bath for promotional materials for the event which is scheduled to take place in October. Jamie Warren, who is a marketing head at GO2 Events, has told the Bath Chronicle:
"The Sanlam Bristol and Bath Marathon has proved an extremely popular concept, right from day one when we first announced our Plans at the end of 2014.”
Chrissie Wellington, a world champion iron man, has been given the responsibility of starting the marathon. Actor Amanda Mealing, who has starred in Casualty and survived cancer, has agreed to participate as well.
It has been reported that Royal Victoria Park will be where the race terminates, after the runners have followed the marathon’s route from Queen’s Square in Bristol. The thousands of participants will not be troubled by traffic as they make their way through several counties.
Warren has stated that the remaining spots in the marathon should be sold to the public in advance of the October race. In addition, he has suggested that there is a risk that potential participants might miss out if they leave it too late.
However, there are some other spots available for interested parties. The places can be obtained through charities which have formal connections with the event. These charities include a Bath organisation called the ‘Forever Friends Appeal’.Get a Free Quote for Plans Get a Free Quote for Print
