The stand-up comic Rachel Parris is on the road with her new show 'Poise', and is due to appear in Bath at the beginning of June.
This actress, musician, writer, presenter and comedian was educated at the University of Oxford, holding a master's degree in Drama. She is an openly committed feminist, and married to well-known fellow stand-up Marcus Brigstocke.
An observational and improvisation performer, Parris incorporates music in the form of clarinet playing into her comedy sets. She is a BAFTA nominee, widely recognised for her humorous role on 'The Mash Report', and is also a founder member of the improv outfit Austentatious, along with being an Edinburgh Fringe regular.
Her impressive list of TV credits includes 'Live At The Apollo', 'The IT Crowd', 'Plebs' and 'Would I Lie To You'. She also features on the popular radio show 'I’m Sorry I Haven’t a Clue' and presents a hit podcast, 'The Guilty Feminist'.
This talented lady writes all of her own material, and in 2022, Parris’s debut book, 'Advice from Strangers' came out to a host of warm reviews.
Tickets cost £19.50 inclusive of a transaction fee. Printing services can be a valuable resource for those engaged in the production of a comedy gig or theatrical event.
Rachel Parris's show has a starting time of 7.30pm on Sunday, 9 June at the Komedia venue in Bath.
