Bath will hold its annual celebration of a celebrated British author.
The world-famous Jane Austen Festival will see hundreds of fans of the Regency era author arrive in the city of Bath. Renowned for her place in women’s literature and celebrated novels like “Pride and Prejudice” and “Sense and Sensibility” both Austen and her works will be explored and enjoyed in this popular 10-day event.
The festival regularly includes readings, lectures, contests, theatre, workshops, film screenings, day trips, music, food, drinks, and dancing. Businesses taking part in local festivals and fairs can sometimes use brochure printing services to create literature that advertises and explains their services to members of the public.
The 2021 edition of the event will mark the 20th anniversary of the much-loved occasion. Play will be performed of Austen’s works and tours will be available on foot and by car exploring Bath in the Regency era. Classes and courses will be held on a wide range of subjects from embroidery and archery to ball room dancing to prepare absolute beginners to take part in some of the events on offer.
Highlights of the festival include a grand ball and the acclaimed Regency Costumed Parade, a favourite of Austen fans and period dramas alike.
The Jane Austen Festival will be held in Bath and run from September 10th until September 19th.
