A workshop entitled ‘Starting in Business’ will be hosted by the city of Bath next month.
Presented by Cool Ventures and BANES Council, the event will offer expert guidance and advice for start-ups from professional business advisers. Local business events can be a useful opportunity for professionals to network and hand out printed Business Cards and grow their list of contacts.
The three hour Advice Clinic will offer a wealth of information, allowing delegates to discover if starting a new business or becoming self-employed is right for them. Details on how to locate customers and set up a business will be explained, including how to keep compliant with all essential legislation.
The event is financed by Bath and North East Somerset (BANES) Council and the European Regional Development Fund, with free entry offered to all those attending. The business workshop will take place at the Bath and County Club on Queen’s Parade.
The start-up session is the first in a series of workshops for business, that also includes a list of related topics, such as how to prepare a strategic plan and getting to grips with finance. The business-focused event is restricted to enterprises and residents located in Bath and other parts of North East Somerset.
