Stand-up comedian and presenter, Eddie Kadi is embarking on his debut tour 'Let Me Land' and is due to play a gig in Bath early in March.
Born in Kinshasa in the Democratic Republic of Congo, Kadi moved to West London at eight years old. Kadi first took to the stage at university, as a replacement host for the African Caribbean Society's talent competition.
This ultimately led to him performing at a stand-up gig, and it quickly became a career choice, delivering his observational style of intercultural comedy. He has since hosted artists like Burna Boy and toured across America with Lauryn Hill as well as headlining at the O2 in 2010.
Kadi’s list of TV credits includes ITV's 'Sorry I Haven't A Clue' and BBC 1's 'Strictly Come Dancing'. The comedian presented the BRITS in 2023 and is currently the host of the 'AfroBeats Chart Show' on Radio 1.
2023 saw him garner a 'Best Breakthrough Award' Nomination at the Royal Television Society, and he was also a 'Best Breakthrough Presenter' Nominee at the Edinburgh TV Awards.
