The stage play 'Accolade' is on tour and due to give a performance in Bath at the beginning of July.
Its plot revolves around a famous writer, but behind the prestige lies a web of deceit that is about to engulf his meticulously crafted life. We enter the world of London's intellectual elite, where to be successful comes at a cost.
'Accolade' follows Will Trenting as he receives a knighthood. It examines the price of success and trial by media. The audience is asked to consider that fine line that divides truth from lies and a person's past from their future.
A story of scandal, ambition as well as the stark realities that lie just under the surface. With sharp dialogue, heartfelt moments, not to mention unexpected twists. The cast includes Sara Crowe, Gavin Fowler and Jamie Hogarth.
Written in the 1950s by Emlyn Williams the play still resonates today. It is directed by the multi-award-winning Sean Mathias, a former Artistic Director of Theatre Royal Windsor and who has productions at the Royal National Theatre to his name.
Tickets range in price from £12.50 to £46.50 inclusive of commission. Brochure printing can be useful when it comes to the promotion of a play or theatrical event.
'Accolade' will run from Tuesday 2nd July to Saturday 6th July at the Theatre Royal, Bath.
