Bath pub nominated for major award

A pub in the vicinity of Bath has a chance to win a Pub of the Year prize.

The Lock Keeper is located on the banks of a waterway near Bath. It features a beer garden in an attractive setting. Promotional drinkware from Bath may be used in the regional leisure sector. When the weather is right, customers and dogs tend to enjoy a stroll to the Lock Keeper. The pub management consists of Azenora Hadzigrahic and Samir Hadzigrahic. The management said:
“We're proud and delighted to be nominated for Best Country Pub of the year by BBC Countryfile. We would like to thank all our team at The Lock Keeper for all their hard work and support throughout the year.”

The presence of the River Avon ensures that visitors to the pub can get views different from those available in the city centre of Bath. A customer has commented that the staff serve up food which is really tasty.

Access to the establishment from the train network is not too complicated because there is a station nearby. The pub did well to receive its nomination because there is an abundance of competition for those businesses which aspire to get on the shortlist.

The voting process in the BBC Countryfile Awards is an extended one. People have until the 5th March to make up their minds.
