Irish stand-up comic David O'Doherty is on tour with his latest show 'Tiny Piano Man', and is due to play a gig in Bath at the beginning of February.
This Dublin-born comedian, author, musician, and actor performed his first open mike session in 1998. Dublin's Norseman Comedy Club was the venue.
In 2000 he published a children's book, 'Ronan Long Gets It Wrong', whilst delivering his debut show 'The Story of the Boy Who Saved Comedy' at both the Dublin and then the Edinburgh Fringes, where he garnered a Perrier nomination.
In the years since, David has appeared at the Montreal, New York, Melbourne, and Kilkenny comedy festivals as well as becoming an Edinburgh Fringe regular. He has also toured with the likes of Rich Hall in the UK and Ireland.
This funny man's list of TV credits includes 'Have I Got News For You', 'Would I Lie To You' and 'The Great Celebrity Bake Off 2024', not to mention, an appearance on US TV's 'Comedy Central Presents' in 2012. He is a previous winner of the 2008 'IF Comedy Award'.
