Antique and collectables fair coming to Bath

Bath will host a fair for collectors looking to pick up vintage items of all kinds.

The Bath Antique Home and Vintage Fair will be held at Bath Racecourse in Lansdown. Normally a racing venue for thoroughbreds, the event will see the well-known oval track transformed into an enormous fair specialising in antiques and collectables.

Around 200 indoor stalls will be set up along with more than 500 stands outdoors. Unusual objects not commonly found for sale in high street shops will be available at prices to suit all types of budget. Items present for purchase at Continuity Fairs events can include antique furniture crafted from mahogany and jewellery priced between £50 and £10,000. Clocks, porcelain, Persian rugs and paintings by known artists are often found as well as wide selection of coins, medals and militaria.

The event is organised by Continuity Fairs, and it has added the Bath Racecourse to its selection of seven other locations around the UK to host events, this includes the County Showground in Exeter and the Royal Showground at Builth Wells. Those arranging fairs can sometimes promote their imminent arrival using poster printing services, putting up adverts in public buildings around the area.

The antique and collectable fair in Bath, Somerset will take place from Saturday April 25 to Sunday April 26.

It is advised to check whether the event Plans to go ahead closer to the time.
