RHE suggested
that there may be a few race tickets remaining in the hands of charities. However, potential runners should be aware that the big day – 13th March - is approaching soon. If people actually want to complete the 13 km race then they may have to act quickly via a charity or a business. Organiser Andrew Taylor said:
“The Vitality Bath Half Marathon is the largest single day charity fundraising running event in the South West and amongst the top three road races in the UK, and it is a great platform for fundraising for charities of all sizes.”
Mr Taylor wished those intending to participate in the event good luck. He also reiterated the importance of training.
In 2015, the half marathon in Bath was responsible for the collection over $2 million in donations. This outcome meant that the race kept its position as the biggest comparable charitable running event in its region. A short fun run for families happens on the same day.
The Bath marathon is expected to raise a lot of money for charity, with donations from spectators on the day giving it an extra boost. Flyers and banner printing help to maintain awareness of the different charities in attendance for such events.
The Corporate Challenge is another key aspect of the event. This gives firms the chance to engage in team building while raising money for good causes. Guest entrants are permitted to take part. Get a Free Quote for Flyers
