Popular club property looking for new tenants

A popular night spot in Basingstoke town centre recently closed down without notice and the property is now available to let to new tenants.

Bar Rock, which is one of the main bars in the area, closed its doors without warning on 1st February. The sole clue to the bar's closure came in the form of a poster pasted in the window of the property, which explained that the license that was held by Bar Rock had been terminated. There was no explanation as to why this termination of license occurred.

On closure of the venue, a promoter for Thursday night events at the venue spoke to the Basingstoke Gazette, saying:

“At the moment, what we have been told is that it’s closed until further notice. We have been told to cancel forthcoming events but they are hoping to re-open very soon. We have heard lots of rumours that they won’t re-open but the owners said hang fire for now and they will have more information over the next few days. I really hope they do re-open.”

Rumours about a reopening have now been quelled as the property is now being marketed as a retail space and the lettings process is being managed by retail estate agents London Clancy.

Night life venues rely heavily on strong promotional material to draw in punters and cash to fund venue rent costs, so any new tenants in the building may wish to enlist the professional services of a local printing company in Basingstoke to help with this to ensure they do not befall the same fate.
