Basingstoke Borough Council has announced that it will be installing state-of-the-art air-to-air pumps to help heat the homes of 27 people living in the park at Attwood Close. This is all part of a team up between the council, National Energy Action and YES Energy Solutions, which is being financed by the government.
The local authority will be keeping an eye on the data extracted from the heating pumps, which are supplied by Bosch Group, during the upcoming year. The results of this monitoring process will be utilised to determine whether this type of renewable heating technology is suitable to be rolled out to small homes and park homes on a nationwide basis.
The environment and regulatory services member for the council, Hayley Eachus, told the Basingstoke Observer that:
“We are delighted that our residents at the mobile home park will enjoy the benefits of this new heating system, particularly over the autumn and winter months. The council supports the renewable energy technology used in the heat pumps.”
Local councils can always rely on places that offer document scanning, when it comes to official documentation.
