A tribute band dedicated to one the UK’s foremost reggae and ska groups is set to take to the stage at a well-established venue in Ashton-under-Lyne this summer.
Fans of reggae in and around Ashton-under-Lyne will soon get an opportunity to see a tribute group dedicated to chart favourites from the 80s, UB40. The event will be taking place at The Witchwood, a venue with a long association with the music scene.
Previous performers with pedigree who have played on the premises include Oasis, Snow Patrol, Badly Drawn Boy, James, Ash, The Damned and Shaun Ryder of the Happy Mondays.
Local bars and music venues often reach out to professional Print shops for a wide range of materials from disposable Menus to Posters and Flyers promoting bands playing live.
Those attending the tribute night will get to hear a wide range of classic tracks from the band formed by frontman Ally Campbell in Birmingham back in 1978. These may include “Kingston Town”, “Red, Red Wine”, “Rat in Mi Kitchen” and ‘One in Ten’, among many others.
The UB40 tribute gig will take place at The Witchwood on Saturday, June 3. The live music venue can be found at 152 Old Street in Tameside, Ashton-under-Lyne. Doors open to the event at 8.30pm. Tickets can be bought on the door for £14 or at £12.50 when bought in advance.Get a Free Quote for Flyers Get a Free Quote for Menus Get a Free Quote for Posters Get a Free Quote for Print
