The classic Fleetwood Mac tribute band Fleetwood Shack is currently on tour, and is due to play a gig in Ashton-under-Lyne at the beginning of May.
Formed in 2021 and based in South Wales, the band frequently travel nationwide. The group consists of a selection of dedicated musicians who came together to pay homage to the artists who are widely recognised as some of the industry's biggest icons.
What reportedly unites them is an admiration for the music and Fleetwood Mac's history, as well as their trials and tribulations.
It is also the original band's sound and mysticism that is celebrated by the tribute act. This they bring not only to audiences who are eager to revisit an era, but also people who were previously less familiar or are new to the songs.
Fleetwood Shack has an extensive repertoire and delivers authentic performances of all the popular hits. These include such well known songs as Don’t Stop, Little Lies, Go Your Own Way, Everywhere, The Chain and Landslide, to name just a few. Their show offers those attending a musical experience that amounts to an evening of nostalgia.
