What's Happening in Altrincham, England…

Popular music festival bound for Altrincham

The Brit Fest, presented by Great British Festivals, is due to be held in Altrincham over one weekend at the beginning of July.

This regular music event is set to return much bigger on the back of 2024's success. It will not only feature well-established artists, but it also acts as a showcase for emerging talent. There will also be a series of cultural activities and interactive experiences on site.

This year, there will be a diverse line-up. The festival will kick off on the Friday on the main stage, with the American band Razorlight headlining, who are recognised for hits such as 'In the Morning' and 'America'. The support on this occasion includes chart breakers Top Loader, indie band The Boo Radleys and soul singer Roachford.

Saturday sees UB40 with Ali Campbell, known for songs such as 'Red Red Wine' and 'One in 10’ take to the stage. They will be joined by synth-pop originals Blancmange and Live Aid's Midge Ure. Sunday will feature ‘70s band 10cc, who are synonymous with the hit 'I'm Not in Love', who will close the festival.

Food stalls and refreshments, camping facilities as well as workshops and talks will all be available onsite.

Ticket prices start at £53.30 inclusive of a transaction charge. Banner printing can assist in the promotion of concerts or musical events like this one.

The Brit Fest begins on Friday, 4 July and will last until Sunday, 6 July at Ashley Hall Showground, Altrincham.
