Local company enjoys coveted award win
A local energy recruitment firm with a global client base is celebrating after it won the prestigious Queen’s Award for Enterprise in International Trade.
Worldwide Recruitment Solutions is based in Altrincham and helps companies in the power, marine, mining, and oil and gas industries locate the employees they need.
Representatives of the company were presented with this award by Warren J Smith, the Lord Lieutenant of Greater Manchester, to recognise its overseas sales success and growth.
The firm has concentrated much of its energies on the expansion of its operations internationally, and has opened new offices in a number of different places – including South Africa, Houston, Iraq’s Kurdistan region, Abu Dhabi and Singapore – during 2015.
Its managing director, Mark Brown, told a reporter from Messenger Newspapers that everyone connected with the company had been delighted and honoured to get the award from the Lord Lieutenant.
He went on to add that the company was also marking the seventh anniversary of its launch, ensuring that staff had relished the double celebration that evening:
