A food festival is due to be held in Altrincham this weekend, attracting visitors from around the region to sample the delights on offer.

The Taste of Trafford festival is due to be held at the market in Altrincham this Sunday 23rd September, featuring stalls selling tasty local produce.

The Taste of Trafford festival promises to bring a range of delicious delights to the people of Altrincham. Some of the stalls being advertised as part of the festival including a pop-up vintage-themed tea room serving pots of tea and street food stalls selling Indian-inspired cuisine. There will also be several stalls from local farmers, bakers, butchers and chefs featuring locally-sourced and locally-created food and drink.

Food festivals have risen in their popularity in recent years along with farmer’s markets, as consumers seek out something a little different to what they may find in their local supermarket. Locally sourced, organic or exotic foods are very much en vogue at the moment, and Altrincham’s food festival is set to succeed because of this.

Foodies in Altrincham and the surrounding area may have heard about the Taste of Trafford festival thanks to promotional activity being carried out online. Food festivals often combine online promotions with Posters and leaflets, which can be distributed throughout the community in advance to drum up support for the event. Local Print companies often help to produce such promotional material, creating bespoke advertising collateral using services like poster and flyer printing.

The Altrincham-based festival has been made an official partner of Manchester’s main Food and Drink Festival and will be open to visitors this Sunday.
