Around the Altrincham area, the festive events calendar is ramping up its activity, and the historic Dunham Massey house will feature in the celebrations.
Dating back to the 1600s, the Elizabethan house is just a short drive or walk from Altrincham town centre. This Christmas, the heritage site will host Jolly Robin’s Christmas Party, a season storytelling event sure to be a hit with children.
The 30-minute sessions are ideal for kids in the age range of three to eight years old. Each child in attendance will receive their own party bag containing crayons, a colouring sheet, stickers and a hanging ornament.
This is an interactive storytelling session, and children are encouraged to get involved in the activity. Family friendly events like this can often be advertised in the local community by flyer printing.
The event is hosted by Jolly Robin, the Dunham Massey mascot, and is expected to be a popular activity. For this reason, it is advised parents book in advance via the Dunham Massey website. There may also be limited tickets available from the Visitor Centre Welcome Desk on the day.
Tickets are priced at £8 per child attending. Attendees are reminded that two adults per family are permitted to attend with children, and that party Bags are not available for babies or adults.
The ongoing storytelling sessions take place on various days up until Friday, 22 December. Check online for the full list of dates.Get a Free Quote for Bags
