Altrincham is set to welcome back a beloved local festival designed for all the ages this spring.
The Bowdonbury Festival will return to Altrincham this coming May. The popular local event will offer those attending a weekend loaded with live music, family attractions and award-winning eats.
The much-loved boutique festival’s return to Altrincham will mark the third edition of the event to date, and it is set to feature its biggest line up yet. Organisers of local festivals and fairs often enlist the aid of banner printing services to create largescale and durable signage that is ideally suited for use outdoors.
Those attending the event will be treated to a live performance from 70s disco icon BONEY M. The group will storm the stage, led by Maizie Williams, playing classic hits like “Daddy Cool”, “Brown Girl in the Ring”, “Rasputin” and “Rivers of Babylon”, to name but a few.
The Bowdonbury Festival will be held at Bowdon Cricket Hockey & Squash Club, located on South Downs Road in Bowdon, Altrincham. It will begin on Friday, May 19 and run until Sunday, May 21. The event will start at 2 pm and end at 11 pm for all three days, and all children attending under the age of 16 must have an adult accompanying them on entry.
Other than guide dogs, no dogs are permitted at the festival.
