A long time ago, the High Street in Altrincham was contrasted negatively with high streets around the UK. This year, the Sunday Times declared that the town is a great space in which to live. Brochure printing services can be useful when marketing places, especially if property is for sale.
The Sunday Times Parent Power report scores Altrincham highly by using a variety of measures. The guide draws attention to schools, community spirit and eateries. It also mentions land belonging to the National Trust. It concludes that Altrincham is currently the best place in Britain in which to live. Rita Adedoyin has relocated to Trafford from London. She told the Sunday Times:
“We came up by accident, but we couldn’t have picked a better town.”
Adedoyin paid tribute to the niceness of residents and pointed out that Altrincham’s motorists often respond positively to pedestrians with children.
As for the list compiled by the Sunday Times, it ranks cities, villages and suburbia. As a town, Altrincham was not simply compared with similar settlements. Different categories were used to show appreciation for Victoria Park, Uppingham and Norwich.
House prices in Altrincham are not the lowest when examined next to prices in the region as a whole. Nevertheless, the local properties are more affordable than those situated within Hale Barns, Hale or Bowden.
