The tribute show 'Give Me The Night' is due to go on tour and will appear at an Altrincham venue early in September.
This production sets out to celebrate the life and work of a genuine American soul pioneer, one who significantly influenced the development of R'n'B soul. It will deliver a nostalgic evening of classic tracks from his back catalogue for the audience to enjoy.
The show stars the well-respected vocalist, Nat Augustin, formerly of Imagination. His involvement in the music business spans more than four decades, and has encompassed producing for Stevie Wonder, guitar playing with Whitney Houston and playing as a key member of Alexander O'Neal's band.
The playlist on the night will likely include such hits as 'Never Give Up On A Good Thing', 'In Your Eyes', 'Lady Love Me (One More Time)', 'On Broadway' and 'The Greatest Love Of All'.
This musical experience has been brought to the public by Entertainers. They have been responsible for a series of successful productions, notably 'The Magic of Motown', 'Fastlove' and 'Lost In Music'.
