A well-known Scottish rock band are set to play a single-night show in Altrincham’s Bowdon.
Renowned rockers, Big Country are due for a warm welcome at a venue in Altrincham. Live music venues from concert halls to cafes and hotels often call upon professional Print shops to create promotional materials like Flyers and Posters, to advertise upcoming performances.
Formed in Fife, in Dunfermline Scotland, back in 1981 the band quickly rose to fame by the middle of the decade. Today their melodic rock continues to enjoy a cult following, which critic credit to their inclusion of Scottish martial and folk music styles. The group were famous for evoking the sounds of traditional Scottish folk instruments like fiddles and bagpipes through their guitar-driven tracks.
Over the years, the band has had many different members but was originally created by ex-Skids singer and guitarist, Stuart Adamson, who sadly passed away in 2001. The surviving members of the group continued to play with the line-up continually changing.
Big Country fans attending the upcoming show in Altrincham will get a chance to hear a set list of the band’s best-known hits, which may include "Harvest Home", "In a Big Country", "Wonderland" and "Look Away".
Big Country will now play the Bowdon Rooms at The Firs in Bowdon, Altrincham on Wednesday, April 13. Standard tickets for the evening are priced at £29.15 per person.Get a Free Quote for Flyers Get a Free Quote for Posters Get a Free Quote for Print
