A leading tribute band dedicated to a world-famous progressive rock group will play live in Altrincham this September.
The Garrick Playhouse in Altrincham has announced it will be extending a warm welcome to an acclaimed tribute to rock maestros Pink Floyd. Live music venues often employ flyer printing services to produce leaflets advertising upcoming shows.
Dubbed Pinked Floyd, the act is far more than a covers band and has developed a show that features an authentic interpretation of the seminal rock group’s live performances. Featuring both a video and light show, the two-and-a-half-hour set spans Pink Floyd’s complete collection and features tracks from a wide range of their albums.
Pink Floyd formed in the 1965 in London and became known as the most prominent band in the progressive rock scene. Originally named the Tea Set, the band renamed themselves when another band who shared their name were performing at the same event.
Pinked Floyd will perform on stage at the Altrincham Garrick Playhouse on Barrington Road on Saturday, September 10.
The Garrick Playhouse has a bar that will be open before the show begins at 7:30 pm, as well as during the interval and afterwards. Tickets are priced at £20 per person with a £2 admin fee, and free car parking is available to gig-goers in the vicinity of the venue.
