Trafford’s Care Commissioning Group has announced that Altrincham’s Health and Wellbeing Centre will be occupied by two GP practices before the winter of 2019. Barrington Medical Centre and St Johns Medical Centre are going to move into the accommodation, which is situated in the centre of town. Organisations moving to new business premises may want to update their admin materials, including Letterheads and Business Cards.
Dr Marik Sangha, a partner in St Johns Medical Centre, told Altrincham Today:
“This is an exciting new chapter: we can continue to provide first-class care for our patients, provide improved parking and treatment facilities and enable the practice to expand into areas such as clinical research and training.”
Dr Sangha pointed out that his practice has been around for half a century. In his view, expansion meant that relocation had become a sensible option to take.
It appears that the new health hub will have the capacity to offer a range of services. The site is about to cater for the third sector and patient groups as well as the two GP practices.
Important features of the centre include a spacious reception area, enhanced technology, extra clinical rooms, appropriate disability access and free parking. About £24 million has been invested in the project so far and more spending will ensure that office space is provided within the building.
