A new fundraiser has been organised in Altrincham by fitness instructor Anne Hodge.
Ride for Life will involve an indoor 12 hour cycling challenge, with all proceeds going to Cancer Research UK.
The volunteer fundraiser will be held at Total Fitness Altrincham between 8am and 8pm on the 9th of August. Around 25 volunteers will be taking part in the event, relaying in teams throughout the mammoth challenge. The Total Fitness team and Hodge will also be teaching sessions with other instructors.
Total Fitness is encouraging anyone to take part in the fundraiser, whether they are members of the centre or not. Attendees are also encouraged to use the centre’s facilities and generally cheer on the teams of volunteers taking part throughout the 12 hours.
Hodge has said that she chose to hold the fundraising event because of her personal connection to Cancer Research UK, which has helped her family members get through the disease, like many other affected people around the region.
According to The Messenger newspaper’s online edition, more information about the event can be gathered from Total Fitness Altrincham’s fundraising manager, Jenny Hague.
Fundraising events like these can also be promoted using printing companies in Altrincham, as usually the more people that hear of the event through Flyers or Posters leads to more money being raised.Get a Free Quote for Flyers Get a Free Quote for Posters
