A bar in Altrincham aims to maintain its local delivery service even after lockdown lifts.
Since government measures insisted that many pubs and bars across the UK close to slow the spread of coronavirus, the Libero bar in Altrincham has been delivering beer and wine orders to households around the area.
With restrictions now lifting, the bar is now able to open, but Paul Rooney, co-owner and recently enlisted delivery man, has no Plans to stop the service.
On March 23, following last orders before lockdown, Rooney issued regular customers with a menu listing his stock of bottles and cans and offered them free delivery. Word spread quickly and Libero were soon sold out. Enterprises operating new services can sometimes benefit from brochure printing services to create leaflets to advertise them.
Now with fully replenished stock levels featuring 50 assorted wines, craft beers, and ciders and Rooney has been delivering as far as Manchester City Centre and Warrington. The popular home ordering service, nicknamed the “Deliverooney” by customers, has proved a valuable revenue stream for Libero and one it intends to continue.
New restrictions will be in place at the actual bar, with a maximum of five customers allowed inside at any given time. Tables can be booked by email. Two covered benches will also be available in the courtyard outside.
