70s tribute band arriving in Altrincham
An acclaimed Altrincham venue will soon welcome a tribute band dedicated to one of the biggest band’s 1970s line-up this summer.
The Garrick Playhouse in Altrincham will open its doors to Fleetwood Bac, a celebrated tribute to rock group Fleetwood Mac. Fleetwood Mac released several critically and commercially successful albums in their run as a band, including 1977’s ‘Rumours’. The album had a cover design featuring vocalist Stevie Nicks and drummer Mick Fleetwood. Record labels often employ expert graphic design services to set album artwork for print.
Fleetwood Bac are recognised as one the world’s best and earliest tribute acts dedicated to Fleetwood Mac and carry the personal endorsement of Mick Fleetwood. The group have enjoyed rave reviews in recent years for their faithful recreation of the classic group, from UK fan sites, The Stage newspaper and the official website of Stevie Nicks. The Times ranked the group among the UK’s top five tribute acts, alongside the Counterfeit Stones, Bjorn Again and the Bootleg Beatles.
As well as playing for UK audiences, Fleetwood Bac have also performed in the Cayman Islands, St Tropez, Dubai, and Monte Carlo. Fans attending the show can expect to hear classic Fleetwood Mac tracks which may include “Go Your Own way” and “Rhiannon”.
Fleetwood Bac will now play live at the Altrincham Garrick Playhouse located on Barrington Road in Altrincham on Friday, June 2. Tickets are available priced at £22 per person.
