The Temple Gardens Ballroom Rockin' Celebration Days is taking place in Moose Jaw over Labor Day weekend.
The event is planned to celebrate the history of the local landmark, and to also help launch the book offering an illustrated history on the ballroom. Guests are encouraged to dress up in costumes from previous decades. Local food vendors are also being asked to offer food and drinks that fit with the theme of the weekend.
There are set to be three "retro" concerts performed by artists such as the Jazz Bandits, Mozart and the Wolfgang, and Topaz; dancing will be encouraged.
Other events will be several breakfasts, including a pancake breakfast hosted by the Moose Jaw Legion. There will also be a meet and greet and an art display showing the Temple Gardens Ballroom at its best.
It is likely that Moose Jaw printing companies have been asked to help advertise this upcoming event, by perhaps designing Flyers that can be distributed throughout the city.
The Temple Gardens Ballroom Rockin' Celebration Days is being held at Grant Hall and on Cordova Street at Langdon from August 29th - September 1st; the event kick-off will begin at 3:00pm.
