The Kelly Bros are known for their use of harmony and combination of country, rock and folk. They will be supported by other local Saskatchewan artists. Advertising for the show compares the Bros to well-known country and rock acts, saying that they have:
“Earned comparisons to the Eagles, Restless Heart, the Doobie Brothers, the Gatlin Brothers, and Alabama. Rooted in tradition and driven by authenticity, The Kelly Bros. delivers music that resonates with soul and storytelling.”
The SCMA’s Concert Tour is designed to highlight Saskatchewan’s provincial parks with outdoor shows. The concerts are free to attend for park passholders, and visitors are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, blankets and other ways to spread out and soak up the atmosphere.
The Kelly Bros Concert will take place at Buffalo Pound Provincial Park, a nature destination within the Moose Jaw area. The tour will also visit Makwa Lake Provincial Park in August with a performance by Tommy John Ehman, following several concerts in June and July. Concerts like this often use poster printing and social media advertising to reach a local audience.
