The event is open to both children and adults and provides a chance to meet costumed princess characters and take parts in crafts and other activities. Refreshments will include sweet treats as well as a full banquet dinner. Attendees can also take to the floor for formal and not-so-formal dancing.
Proceeds for the event will go towards the Moose Jaw Health Foundation, which contributes to local hospitals. In particular the event aims to fund a new birthing bed in the Women’s Health Unit at the Dr. F. H. Wigmore Regional Hospital. Galas and other charitable events make use of brochure printing and stage presentations to help identify how the beneficiary organization contributes to the community.
In past days, the event was hosted over a weekend, but in 2026, the ball will be a one-day affair. The event theme will be kept secret until close to the day, with co-ordinator Kate Szeles promising an especially memorable event for the 15th anniversary:
“If you've been curious about checking it out, I would say that this is the year that you’ll want to come.”
The 2026 Little Princess Ball will take place on April 18 at the Temple Gardens Centre in Moose Jaw.
