Moose Jaw’s Sidewalk Days festival will be back this July, inviting residents to enjoy local businesses and culture.
The event sees local vendors and attractions lining a closed-off street, allowing visitors to freely wander around the area and enjoy the summer weather. The festival features a number of musical acts and live entertainment. Four-piece group Trick Ryder will both open and close the festival, with the latter performance part of a new Festival Finale event that will also see select food vendors staying open on Sunday night. Mia Eiswirth will be among the other musical artists performing at Sidewalk Days. A full list of vendors and performers will be released in the weeks leading up to the event.
One of the major attractions will be an overhead flight from Moose Jaw’s own Snowbirds. The festival also features a Children’s Village with games and activities for kids, including visits from some familiar characters. All in all, Sidewalk Days is expected to feature over 100 vendors, including food and drink trucks, and 30 different entertainers.
Street festivals like this offer a major opportunity for local businesses and organizations to interact directly with the public and attract new customers, often providing Business Cards and other souvenirs with contact information.
The 2022 edition of Sidewalk Days will take place along Moose Jaw’s Main Street from July 7 to 9.
