The Moose Jaw Shrine Club recently hosted a fair geared towards children and their families.
The event took place at the Western Development Museum’s and also the Shrine Club’s clubhouse. There were bouncy castles set up, as well as a petting zoo, a visit from officers with the Moose Jaw Police Services, and members of the area’s EMS. The weather was pleasant, with warm sunshine and little wind.
Those who like to test their skills were able to do so at a series of games that had been set up inside the museum building’s two show venues. There was also hot dogs and candy for the kids, as well as live entertainment. The event was intended to help raise both funds and awareness for the Shriner’s of Saskatchewan, and what they do to help the 92 ill children in the province to whom they lend a helping hand, as well as provide a fun and affordable activity for local children and their parents.
