Moose Jaws Strong Studio launches fitness challenge
A Moose Jaw gym is calling on residents to participate in what it calls the Moose Jaw Top Dropper, a ten-week weight loss challenge with prizes at stake.
The challenge was created by The Strong Studio by DFWK, and will be promoted by local institutions like Discover Moose Jaw, Homefield and Mix 103. Winners will be scored based on percentage of Body Mass Index lost, designed to give people at all levels of fitness an opportunity.
In exchange for an entry fee, Strong Studio will provide a personalized meal plan by Notorious Food & Fitness, training sessions, a gift bag and access to a private Facebook group for encouragement and weekly challenges. Participants are free to maintain their current exercise regimen at home or try something new.
Participants are encouraged to register as part of a couple, family, or workplace, encouraging a spirit of competition and camaraderie. This has been a component of many successful fitness challenges and competitions, which often use printing services to help track progress and distribute challenges or vital information. The winner of the competition – the titular Top Dropper – will receive a grand prize bundle worth over $5,000, with multiple runner-up prizes also available.
The Moose Jaw Top Dropper will kick off on September 14 and run for ten weeks. Registration does not require Strong Studio membership.
