It’s getting close to the time once again for the Moose Jaw Chamber of Commerce to give out the Samuel McCloud Business Awards, and the organization is seeking the public’s help.
The awards are given out in 11 categories, and a company or not-for-profit doesn’t have to be a member of the Chamber to be nominated. People can nominate any firm that they feel has gone above and beyond when it comes to providing services or innovative business ideas.
Nominees will be accepted until December 21st, and after that, a group of judges will select those that they feel are most deserving of the different awards. There will be a celebration held in early April, where they will be presented.
An event like this is not only beneficial to those who receive the prizes; it also helps to promote all of the nominees. It gives people a chance to find out more about the different businesses and not-for-profits in their community that they might not otherwise be aware of. It also lets the public learn more about the town’s overall business community.
