According to owner Ms. Tracey Deitrich the goal is to make it feel as home like as possible. She went on to say that this starts with providing baking and other food that is all homemade as well as allowing residents to set their own schedules and times. Those who live there can choose to get involved with day to day tasks, such as helping out in the kitchen should they wish to do so, and visits by family pets will be welcomed.
Residents will also have access to the latest technology, such as Skype and email, to allow them to keep in close contact with their friends and families.
Though Ms. Deitrich admits the cost is higher than at some of the other facilities in the city, she pointed out that for many, the little extras that it can offer will be worth it.
