The Moose Jaw Museum & Art Gallery will be holding its annual Gala in the Gallery fundraiser this December, supporting the museum as it heads into 2026.
The gala event will feature a live art auction, as well as a silent auction, allowing bidders to take home some of the art they see on display. There will be charcuterie and other snackables provided from High Regard Artisanal Catering & Kitchen, along with a cash bar. To add to the atmosphere, local musicians will perform live jazz music.
The event will take place in the midst of the gallery’s collection, which features a permanent collection of work from Canadian and international artists, as well as temporary exhibits like “Jody Greenman-Barber: Flow” and “Winds of Change”. Formal wear for guests is encouraged to help create a black-tie gala atmosphere.
Funds from ticket sales and the auction will go towards the Museum & Art Gallery, allowing for it to fund more programming and acquire new work for its permanent collection and exhibits. Gala events like this often use speeches and undertake brochure printing to outline the role of the charitable cause and encourage donations.
The 2025 Gala in the Gallery will take place at the Moose Jaw Museum & Art Gallery on the evening of December 6. A limited number of tickets will be available at the door.
