This Halloween, Moose Jaw residents are invited to come out for a great time while they help to raise money for a cause that affects an awful lot of people.
When local Paul Busse was young, he lost his mother to breast cancer. As an adult, he wants to help other people going through the same thing.
In honour of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, he and his union president, Gord Hewitt, got together to plan and host their very first Halloween costume party fundraiser.
Live music for the event will be provided by the Full Moon Howlers, and there will be refreshments available. The doors open at 8:00pm, and partygoers are encouraged to wear their best costumes, as prizes will be awarded.
The celebration will be held at the Silo, and both Busse and Hewitt are hoping for a good turnout. Since it’s the first year for the event, they aren’t expecting it to sell out, but they remain hopeful. Tickets can be purchased for $20 at John’s Music.
