Residents of Moose Jaw will soon have an opportunity to make a big difference in the lives of others in their community and across the country.
Canadian Blood Services (CBS) will be hosting a blood donor clinic at the Moose Jaw Exhibition Company Ltd., and is hoping that both new and current donors alike will drop by to give the gift of life to others.
According to CBS, the blood will be used for a wide range of purposes, including to help patients undergoing major surgeries, as well as those undergoing cancer treatment, who have been in accidents, or who need it to manage a chronic or acute medical condition.
Those who would like to make their first donation, as well as those who have made one in the past and would like to do so again, can register to do so through the CBS website. It also provides a variety of information about how the blood will be used and the requirements for being a blood donor. Booklet printing can be utilized to create informational materials that can be given to each person who comes into a clinic such as this.
The Moose Jaw Canadian Blood Services Blood Donor clinic will be held on October 4th. Anyone who is interested in making a donation or finding out more can visit the CBS website for further details.
