Moose Jaw mental health org launches 2025 campaign

The Moose Jaw chapter of the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) has launched a new fundraising campaign with the 2025 Let’s Thrive day planner.

The initiative raises funds for the CMHA’s daily operations through the sale of day planners. The planners are designed by a client of the group’s vocational program, with an eye towards supporting mental health. It includes daily mood trackers, a 2025 vision board, crisis line numbers, and other resources. Each month will also have a theme related to emotional resilience, with January dubbed “reset”.

In a statement, CMHA Moose Jaw Acting Director Dusti Hennenfent expressed the potential utility of the tool:

“I even had someone say to me yesterday they were going to use that to help track a health condition they were trying to better understand. It was going to be an easy way for them to track which days they were feeling better...”

The planners are made with printing costs covered by the Journey to Hope program, allowing for all revenue to go to the main branch. Charitable organizations often use local printing services and publishers to help create items like this. CAMH Moose Jaw uses donations to fund everything from social groups to interventions for people with serious mental illness. The organization’s clients will also receive a planner free of charge.

The Let’s Thrive Day Planner campaign launched in mid-December 2024 and will continue while supplies last. Planners are available for purchase online or at CAMH Moose Jaw’s office.
